Written by Team Backyou | 23 January 2024

On the programme for this online launch

  • Overhaul of the accommodation form
  • Improved RIB management
  • New Backyou Pay interface
  • Strong authentication

1. Redesign of the accommodation page

The new accommodation page has been completely redesigned for fast, intuitive management! A streamlined interface and an optimised experience to save you time.

The management of tourist taxes has been moved to the Products section (New Taxes tab):

Group types and age groups have been moved to the application forms (Settings > Templates > Forms).

2. RIB management

Redesigned RIB management section for greater clarity and flexibility: manage and organise your payment information more easily thanks to the "Active" and "Archived" tabs.

3. New Backyou Pay: account management interface

Hoteliers using our Backyou Pay online payment solution can now manage their account directly from Backyou (Accommodations > RIB). Total autonomy is just a click away!

If your account is restricted, you will be notified by email, so you can react quickly and change the necessary information.

4. Updating authentication rules

Find out about our latest way of strengthening the security of the platform: our brand new reinforced authentication management system.

What does this mean for you? Sending a 6-digit code to the hotelier's e-mail address every time they take an important action.

Activating this feature is quick and easy. Go to Settings > Strong Authentication and add your personalised rule. We currently offer you the option of securing three key aspects of your business:

  • Adding and modifying an employee,
  • Adding and modifying a bank account,
  • Assigning payments via Backyou Pay (if this option is activated).

For example, when a new employee is created, a popup window will appear showing the code that needs to be entered before the record can be finalised.
